The pull on this car is unbelievable and it feels natural unlike the pull I get from the Supercharger. I fed the throttle lightly all the way to 7000 and the tires were slipping and I shifted to 2nd and fed the throttle halfway still trying to grab traction finally shifting to 3rd and flooring it still trying to bite the asphalt....at this point Im doing 100+ and I have to slow it down quickly for the light coming up and the brakes hook up perfectly with no fade what-so-ever and it stopped on a dime without the suspension dropping in the front. Didn't get the oppurtunity to drive it on the twisties but the steering feels heavy and very stable. I love the interior and the leather buckets feel like heaven.
He knows I have a S/C in the max and asked if we wanted to have a "friendly" competition.... first one to 120 wins.
I turn on my Passport and he turn on his V1 just in case.
1:30 p.m. we pull up to the toll booth and pay the toll and slowly pull out on to the Dulles toll Rd. No traffic at all so we completley stop on the Road and pull next to each other...we both count 1-2- 3!
Both of us are smokin the tread and I get the hole shot on him, the wheels finnally start to hook up at the end of 2nd and I shift to 3rd coming up on 100. He's right on my rear door and I can see through my peripheal vision he's gaining slowly passing me, I'm at his rear fender and we both shut it down... I cheated alittle because I got up to 125.
My damn stocks and bonds better do something soon... I need an M5.
Those in the DC area, we're going to hit D.C. Live Saturday and of course Jeff will be driving his M5 so let me know if you want to hook it up. Can you imangine the honey's he is going to pull with that Bimmer....

Here we are pushing the limit of the DSC (dynamic stability control)

Here's what happens when your copilot turns off the DSC without telling you....you get to take $65k piece of machinery off roading.

Here's what happens when you hit a few cones while going 70mph.

The idea is to avoid the water.

I actually felt bad for the cars after the 2 days...but hey it was free
