Larger Throttle Body

Does anyone know whether the Pathfinder's VQ35DE throttle body is larger than the VQ30DE's? Has ANYONE actually tried swapping it (dunno...will it fit)?

Why don't you try it out and see,

Then you can tell us if it works or not.

I think if it would work some one whould have done it by now. But I don't think any one has.

There is an easier way....

Just goto your local dealer and get throttle body gaskets for both. If the bolt pattern is the same then it will swap over. However you will have to port match the intake manifold, which usually means removing it. As far as gains are concerned you probably won't get any more power at the wheels however you should gain better throttle response and fuel economy. Well at least I did when I swapped a 60mm TB (stock is 50mm) in my maxima.

yeah but remember, the 4th gen already has a pretty big TB.
