Maxima acceleration problems

I have a 2001 Nissian Maxima and had a problem with low speed cornering as the car would often stall. I cleaned the Throttle Body which seemed to solve that problem but I now have a new problem. As I accelerate and the rpms's reach 4000 the car stumbles and loses power, Also during heavy acceleration the car apears to be chokeing and if I back off the throttle a bit It stops choking. Could this be the TPS, or maybe the Oxygen sensor? Please help I am at a loss right now. thank you.

Just a guess, but I've read that problems like that can sometimes be a sign the MAF is going south.

Could also be a clogged fuel filter or bad fuel pump?
