For those who work on their own cars, step in.
While reading the July issue of Car Craft, I came across a really good way to save yourself from some of the frustrations of working under your car while on your creeper. Keeps your creeper from getting hung-up on nuts, bolts or pebbles on your garage floor. This is a really simple idea, but looks like a good one. I will be ordering a set myself very soon.

Werd, carpeted garage....1970's ****?
I personally don't have a creeper, but when I'm helping Ian with his car, I use the one he has. Often there is crap all over the ground, like oil, etc. I've been known to lay in that stuff without realizing it, and get oil and stuff all over me. That sweeper sounds like a pretty good idea.

Jay25 has almost wall to wall carpet...lol.. that is who I got the idea from
It's old/thrown out carpet.
Not "installed" with a pad. Just the capet on top of the concreate. It keeps it warmer in the winter and gives you a softer surface to lay on.
Of couse when you spill 5 qts of fluid on it, you need ot replace it.
I'll post a pic tomorrow

I just work in my garage (concrete), no creepers or any crap like that.
I've got some carpet in my garage at my dad's place. (mustang's home since its heated and stuff )
too bad it is friggen expensive to maintain 2 garages (tool wise)

I had carpet in the garage, but one burnout took care of that. Talk about the magic flying carpet. Now I just neal on carpet pads.
Back the the topic.... a creeper...how do you use one of those with a pit? lol. I dont think my pos jack could lift the car up enough for me to get under it with a creeper. Must be nice though.
