1993 Maxima Pressure hose installation

Sup guys. i need some advice. i recently sprung a new leak of powersteering fluid from the high pressure hose. Its leaking pretty vigorously and I need to get it changed soon. I was wondering if this is a job i can do on my own or do i need to take it to the shop. What kinda tools do I need? This maybe a stupid question and is probably a 15 min job, but im a newbie at this. Thanks

it's pretty easy. You'll need a big wrench or big socket - 24mm I believe. Just undo the bolt holding the bottom end of the hose to the pump and let the fluid drain out. Then undo the top by the strut tower. Put new hose in place and use new copper washers (should come with the new hose) and tighten it down. Refill fluid.

oh werd. thats hot man. If i didnt put so much work into making my piece of **** Max to look stock i could be hooken it up with mods myself. But anyway, i have a question bout ur rims and tires. Our tire size are 215 stock i believe, so if i purchased rims and tires off of a 4th gen max, could i use the 225 tires they come with?

thanks again man.

the wheels I have come stock with 215/55/16s on them and work fine
if you run 225, you may need a spacer in back, but I'm not sure
