Wrong... Only in the 1/4 it will but if there both side by side rolling its gonna be a tough call. They both have the same trap in the 1/4.

I was waiting for that...make that foreign/manual shift 4-door sedan under $25k. I won't touch domestic...unless it's a Jeep.

Heh? Again, magazine numbers are pretty meaningless, but since you like them... MT clocked the WRX in the 1/4 at 14.4 seconds @ 95.4 mph. My max with CAI has run a best of 15.29 @ 88 mph... Even rolling 5-60 times on the WRX have been in the low to mid 6's.

But like I said, I have almost no faith in magezine numbers, too many variables... but whatever floats your boat...

WRX is nice and all, but I rather get a Mitsubishi Lancer. IMO, it looks better too. Ok, both WRX and Lancer will be great from the factory. What about aftermarket? Will there be a lot of performance mods for these two cars? Maybe a bigger turbo? Anyway, I'm glad you guys like the WRX. I'll wait for the Lancer, my next car! Btw, anyone know when will the Lancer be available to the public?

You make a claim, and you want me to prove it for you?

wrx v. maxima
like some ppl said, they aren't in the same class.

I would compare it against other pocket rockets. How about the new, yet to come, RSX? Or, how about the rumored 270hp EVO VII?

Better yet, race it against an Audi S4.

I like the WRX a lot as a small fun-to-drive car. But in terms of practicality, I would definitely pick the Maxima over it.

No, I made a statement that is a fact. If you want proof you need to go find out for yourself if you do not believe me. It has been talked about for the past 1 1/2 yrs on the 5th gen board basically. I bet even if you did a search you would find it. The New Climax (that has been learning how to drive a 5spd, he had a auto before) did stock 15.1 at 93mph. Now a 14.7 at 95 mph is very realisitc and that is what others have done.

I'm not saying it's impossible, on the contrary, I think it is possible given the right circumstances. I just have learned to take anything you say with a grain of salt. The burden of proof rests on the person making claims. You're never going to win an argument by announcing something as fact and then telling people to go find proof for themselves, that ain't how it works...
