I installed my old HKS intake on a friends auto Max a week ago and today the car stalled and the CE light is on. I never had any problems. It has been raining here for the last 3 days and his car is outside all the time. Any ideas.

hmm, i never really heard of a intake causing a stale unless when you installed the intake you some how damaged his mass air flow sensor or you say it has been raining, maybe water got in through the intake but that happens more often with a cai.

I stalled couple of times with my 2K.

I took the car to the dealer and the explanation was that there is two air temp sensors, one right after the intake duct next to the hood latch and one right before the intake manifold. The guy said when the air temp of the first sensor does not match the temp of the second sensor, the engine will stall. He also said the he's suprised that the engine light has not come on.

I'd check your connections around the MAF b/c you could've bumped something. One little wire out of place on today's cars can shut her down.

Yeah,

A busted MAF sensor will stall it, and not allow you to rev over bout 2.5k RPM.. Check the connections to it.
