How much for a custom b-pipe
My exhaust is slowly falling apart so I bought a 5th gen muffler off Gooey (perfect transaction btw) and now I need a b-pipe. One place wanted to charge me $175 and I felt like they wanted to rip me off or scare me away. Another place said $75-80 and the guy seemed cool. Both are for 2.5" aluminized, with resonator, installed. Does place number 2 seem legit? How much should I be expecting to pay in the Boston area? Thanks

The first place was Lou's Custom Exhaust in N. Reading. When I asked about a b-pipe being made they said, "Oh what do you have a Honda Accord?" and rolled their eyes. When I said Nissan Maxima they said, "Same thing." That's when they said $175 and I said See ya.

lou's custom exhaust told me that they can replace the two cat bolts connecting to the y-pipe for $60 with new bolts, washers, and gasket. BTW I brought the bolts, washers, and gasket to them so basically they wanted to charge me $60 just remove the old bolts. I too said "see ya."
