H3ll yeah.... I got everything including a 60k mile tranny off of there, for $900 Not including clutch or axles tho, both which i'm getting new. Shop around. Alot of yards will give you a better price if you ask for everything.

Probably all years. Nissan seem to use the FWD 5-speed pretty generically. In fact, you could probably use a 1st and 2nd gen stanza 5-speed as well. The only thing you'd need to do is swap out the bellhousings so everything will mate properly.

As for the time.....if your mechanically inclined and done this before, 2 days no problem. For someone that never done this, or isn't as mechanically inclined, I would actually bump the time up to 5 days. Again if you do the work yourself, it cost you probably $1000-1200 with tranny.....to have someone else do it...what sprint said.

1 of them has LSD and 1 of them is the regular..

both of them will work.. one will just give you limited slip.. the other won't.

if you do get the LSD Model Tranny.. you will have to get the LSD drivers side axle also..

i think locking is non-LSD and non-locking is LSD..

not too sure.. i always get them confused

i'd just search long and hard for a five speed, de-mod your current max and sell it for the manual. less headache. this is what i'm doing next summer. i thought about the five speed swap, but with that money, plus the money from selling this car, plus a little more from savings, i can afford a 5.5 gen 6spd, assuming i can find one of course. i'm relying on the wonderful nissan resale value to hatch this plan of course

lol, that's another good way to go. That's also part of the reason I won't do another swap....just too much of a headache.
