Wow this really sucks, but like everyone else says good to hear no one was hurt. And that comment about us being really sheltered in the US could not be more true. I was born in India and moved here when I was 7, but whenever I go back to visit, I really see how much of the world lives. Very rough, and ****ed up, especially if you are foreign.
I should just say if you are white and traveling in such a country always take extra precautions because people will try to **** with you. The white comment is not to be racist, please don't take it as such. Just pointing out that if you are white, you will be considered more naive, and will attract more attention in those places. Just how some of those people think.

The thing is that she has her design studio in one of the nicest places in Tijauna, you can see a lot of nice cars in that area, bran new beemers, new trucks, etc, the thing was that they saw a nice/roomy/fast car that was "for sale" and they used that oportunity to get close steal the car without any damage to it. The funny thing is that I ususally never have any cash on me, but I did that day and it was just my bad luck.
Oh and I'm not white guys, I'm half american and half mexican, so it wasn't a racist thing either.
