I downloaded that a while ago, and I can't wait until it comes out. That will be a good movie. I think "DRIVEN" is a good one too. I think it's about racing indy cars and stuff, it comes out pretty soon.

they used motorcycle engines in the f1 cars since after the races are over they send the engines back to the manufacturers. That way you still get that Weeeeeeing sound. he heh.

 

Next week sometime, Speedvision is airing a show on the making of "Driven".

I work at AMC(American Movie Company) and I will be seeing this movie a week before its available to the public. I will let yall know whether its any good, even though I'm sure all car nutz will go see it regardless.

I saw the screening of this on Thursday, and I was not impressed. The cars were kinda cool, but overall the movie sucked in my opinion. The whole movie was cheesy, but its cool cuz there was racing and no movies show enough of that... and there was a Maxima although they didn't really race it.. it was a blue one, no spoiler, I dunno what was done to it, had rims it was lowered and thats about all I could tell.... Nissan got some showing, there were 240's and they mentioned the SR20 engine too (although I think they were trying to put it in a civic??? people don't do that do they??) But overall, a bad movie but check it out just for the racing and cars.... but not for the storyline!

That's an understatement!! Here in Seattle I just know the street races are gonna be off the hook after that movie! Woo hoo!
