Help with new tires for 2002 Maxima GLE

Hello everyone.

I am looking for advice on replacing the tires on my 2002 GLE.

I have factory rims and I'm unsure of the size. I am leaning toward Michelin tires, but I want to get some feedback before I go ahead and purchase.

Is there a better choice of brands out there, and if so, why?

Thanks in advance!

IF you want GREAT traction in adverse weather choose BF Goodrich Traction T/As
For Good traction, less road noise, and little softer choose Falken 512s

I have had both. I have not gotten to try the Falkens in extreme weather yet but the tread on the Traction T/A is the best.

Falken Ziex 512 is really good and you should consider them.
But if you choose to do your own research the best place for you to check out is

I've found the best place to buy tires is the local place for two reasons:

1. buy online you still need to get them mounted and balanced, and no local place near me will do that for free...added cost.

2. EVERYTHING is negotiable. DO NOT pay the price they tell you first. Ask over and over "Is that the best you can do?" and they'll usually start adjusting the price.
