Taking a pole on auto adjust suspension

Hello all,
I think I am finally getting shocks for my 01 SE and they will be Illuminas. I am thinking about making a control system that will allow me to see what dampening setting they are at and change that setting all from the drivers seat. I think I am competent enough for this because i am getting my masters in electrical Engineering and through the help of my own brain and maybe a couple of TA's and a professor or 2 I will be able to come up with this system. I will use stepper motors, a microcontroller, an LCD and of course switches for the controls. I think what i am going to do will end up functioning like the Tein SS controler. I know that the illuminas are only 5 way adjustable but i am sure if i can make a system for them i could make a system for the D2's and the JIC's. I am not sure of the cost yet so i dont even want to get into that but i think the most expensive thing would be the microcontroller and the mounting bracker. I will intentionally build a bracket that will take into account such things as FSTB's. So I need you guys to give me input on what you would want before i really dig into this project and even if you are interested in something like this. I do know that the price should be CONSIDERABLY less than the $300+ tein is charging.

No lip from you Matt. I wanted to be able to have a round about number and not have to read through every single post just to see what people think.
