It's made by MaxRev. Cattman's fabricator. The welding looks great. Better than Stillen's Y-pipe welding.

Re: So what is it?

It's a test pipe or straight pipe. It replaces the cat.

Sweet!, how much was it...

Is the rear flange angled? Since I have the Courtsey B-Pipe and its rear flange is angled I had some troubles aligning my "test pipe" with the b-pipe. A little angle one the rear test pipe flange would be nice. Is the Stillen b-pipe different?

Cool, between you and I were headed for an ice age!!! Its too dam hot in New Orleans any way!!

Re: Sweet!, how much was it...

It was $40 and it's made out of polished stainless steel with mild steel flange. I didn't want to spent the extra for the stainless steel flange. I don't know about the rear flange being angled. I have the stillen b-pipe so it looks straight to me. What i did was sent the shop my OEM cat and they used that as guide. The rear OEM cat flange doesn't seem to have an angle to it either. Hmm.. Anyways, I'm going to get a dyno session going to test the improvement between test pipe and RT cat. I might test fit it before just to make sure it will bolt on.

in time that thing will turn black after it heats up.. i suggest you weld a heat shield on that. so at least it looks stock. but then again you wont' b able to pass smog with it on if you gotta see the ref. does the o2 sensor plug in? nice.... i can kinda see the weld from the pic and it looks real clean
