look around online for stuff on the 6th gen. I don't currently make anything for it, but I'm sure someone does. Google has many quick answers.

Placed the orders for the rotors today.. should be here in a week, then they go to the machine shop for the hats.

2-piece rotors with stock 6th gen front dimensions?

Yup.
simple and effective. It'll fit all the brake kits I currently make, and I can throw some monster calipers on top of it if I feel like going the next step up.

Cool, good luck with that.
To put "monster" calipers on them, wouldn't you need to find some designed to work with 160* radius? Or else the pad radius and rotor radius won't match, like the pad overhang when Z calipers are used with Cobra rotors.

Thus one of the many reasons I stopped with 12.6" rotors...
any aftermarket calipers I use will be designed to fit the rotors and the proper brake bias, not just spare parts bin stuff or the hugest calipers & pistons I can find like some of you guys do.

Are the 2 piece rotors still available for the 6th gen max?

interesting........would be a nice way to offset the outrageously heavy 6th gen front setup I have.......will be interested to see how much these will run, especially if there is a good amount of people who would order them.....

Any idea as to whether these would fit under OEM '02 GLE 17" rims? And would installing the full front kit require a pressure regulator to avoid imbalance with the rears?

yes, they will fit since the OEM 6th gens do, and these will be the same dimensions, as he said above.

no, it's probably not enough of a difference to warrant that, unless you upgrade to, say, 4-piston calipers....
