I have been around the org since around 2000ish, I was atleast lurking in late 99. I picked up my first maxima when I was 19 on 9/7/99, it was a loaded 95 SE spd with 63K miles. I was a member before the modern day org came about. I remember the old org dissapeared for what seemed like many months. I checked in everyday and then it finaly came back and in a new improved layout (thanks Jambo). While I really never post here anymore I do lurk maybe once every month or two, just seeing what people are up to. I spent years on here dedicating a ton of my time and I really did enjoy it at the time. I definatly miss the old day's of just messing around with my maxima like crazy and never looking back. Now a days I don't even change my own oil, lol.

- Server Busy Messages
- Database Error Messages
- The long thread in OT with Humaras (I wonder how he's doing these days)
- 9/11 (This site was how I first got the news about the World Trade Center)
- Learning how to moderate this site from Bill and Matt....
- Kevin owning someone on the boards
- A lot of things in OT such as the **** Shack and build threads
- A ton of meets
In short, I have spent a countless number of hours on this site but learned a lot of things and made friends (and a few enemies) along the way.

I used to go to Tran's site all the time when I was younger. Before i even had a license actually. Then when i went to college, a friend told me of his civic forums and how helpful they were. I decided to search for some and joined automotiveforums.com and this one. I posted so much on the other site that I forgot about this one. When I came back I noticed that there were a lot more people here. I can't beleive I'm still under 1000 posts.

WOW... a bunch of old faces... How about the "original" Doug and Ming? Mings car was SICK when he first showed up.. one of the first with the full stillen kit and Volks. Custom Audi TT fuel door and all... Ahh the memories.

I'm sure it's been mentioned a dozen times, but Russ is a *****. I don't post much any more because my car is a daily driver. It has a 176k on it and still runs fine. I got a '06 325xi 6sp. last month. That's a fun car too.

I remember liking only 2 cars when I was young....first the mustang gt(fox body) and the 3rd gen maxima. I remember when the 4th gen came out i was in 6th grade and fell in love with. I always liked it and tried to convince my parents to get one, but it was a no go. So i started looking around on the net(19yrs old about) and typed up maxima in yahoo and the frist link was maxima.org. As soon as i clicked on it, i knew i found gold. there was so much info and i do remeber those server down days LOL. So I got my first maxima when i was 20(95 se auto blk on blk) modded it lightly...put a lot of $$$ into it too, but always loved it. Then I got a 99 5spd exactly like m old one. I'm now 24 as of tomorrow...where have 5 yrs gone...loved every moment of it
