I don't know what happend to my old account but i just had to re-register, i had oringinally registered in 01 when i bought my second maxima a green 00 5 spd.

 

Hi I have a 1996 nissan maxima SE my check engine light is on had the codes ran and came up with this P0446 which is the charcoal canister purge solenoid and P0440 which is the canister vent control valve i need both of theses parts but when i went to the nissan dealership to buy the parts they said that they did not know what i needed because they might be called something else because of japan parts can anyone help me all i want to do is buy the parts so i can get this fixed thanks

Hey guys i have a rebuilt '04 motor in my '95 maxima. Just wondering what kind of immediate maintenance I should be looking at? Also i have new headers. I heard as you drive, the new headers will back off and will need to be tightened. Is this true?

In addition to my suggestions elsewhere, perhaps you can pick general topics that you're interested in and either use the search feature or start from the earliest threads in the various sections of interest.

This was one of the first forums I joined...I didn't even have a Maxima when I joined...I just liked 'em!

 

I think that would be pretty funny. You would have to take close ups of all the problems like rust and dents, and list bullet point style all the mechanical problems that the car has. Maybe I'll try and start it if I have time.

 

you assume the OG's still drive maximas?
