ah, i came along doing the time that 5th gens was just getting hot, and when the intoduction of the 6th gen and the inifinty came along. 4 years have passed and alot has happend.
The most annoying memories was the "server busy" or "down for system updates" error messages. Its good to be apart of this fine community. Come on people big group hug.
Memories of org members being banned for fighting with modderators, the time of Yo_its_not_ok(lol).
Starting out with a vg maxima, i thought i was in heaven, then later after i found out the real truth of all the modding i got the bug, attended maxima meets, and then later got my ve.
The feeling you get after spending 5+hours just browsing and post whoring, then later org withdrawl after you havent been on after a while. and the endles rant rant rant.
Coming across this board opened a new world, a world filled with people with the same common interest, where i meet new friends, and the best of all get discounts on parts where you will get raped on other places like stealerships.
ok enough of that..
when is the maxima offical date of consemption.? when do we say
to the org?? do we give it presents. Is there a Maxima.org day!? Well there should be one. All in favor I!

AH I remember the days in the 3rd gen forum when we would talk about the turboing the VG and saying it cant be done. Then Jeff banning anyone who started a thread about it. I lurked on this site for a while too before I joined. Although I dont post much I still have learned somethings from this site for sure. But it has really grown and changed since 2001 for sure.

My bro and I have been around from the beginning. I started posting around 1997 (my bro, earlier than that). When Chad was thinking of closing his BBS, I picked up and started my own temporary BBS, which's still alive: http://users3.cgiforme.com/Maxima/cfmboard1.html
PeelBoy wanted to make something nice, so we worked together (he did most of the work) on another forum.
Then both of us helped the original owner of "Maxima.Org", who I can't remember the name cuz it's exchanged hands a few times.
Bill, Brian, Jay, Cheston, George, Randy are some of the Southern California members who I remember from back then. Bill, Brian, Jay, Cheston all hotlap. George and Randy still have their 3rd gens. I finally got my own 4th gen in 2002. My bro had a 90 GXE, and currently has a 93 SE and 2k SE.
