Speedometer
How far off? If it's just a few percent (like 5%) it's probably just tire size issues. Even if you're running stock tires, as they wear they can affect the speedo. But, since it's reading low, that means that your tires would be bigger around than stock. If it's a big difference (like 15%) I have no idea...sorry.
The easiest way it to take a ride on cruise control and measure the time between mile markers. Obviously it's more accurate the further you go, but 10 miles would be fine. I built a grid for seconds per 1 kilometer. I will build it up for seconds per mile. With that you go take a run and time it. then you will know when your spedo reads XXX you are going YYY. (note that I am not telling you to do that run at over 3 digits on your spedo!)
Here is a link to a minutes/mile grid. Should be simple enough to figure out.

If you need the KM one let me know I will fire off my Palm.

5%????? I know BMW's out of the factory come with a 10% over-estimate on their speedo, so if it says your going 150mph in a bimmer, your really only going 135mph.....
I assumed maxima just came with a 1% error, or something real small; although now that I say that I doubt they reconfigure the gle/gxe & the se's because there is a 1 inch tire difference at least.... hmmmm ....
BTW how fast did you think you were going, and how fast did the radar clock you??
Just so you know, in a lot of states you have the right to ask to see the radar to make sure he wasn't just lying (you probably should have done this), plus, how did the cop scan you? I mean was he driving in the opposite direction and he clocked you? I ask this because let's say there was a big van or truck coming up behind you going 80mph and you were going 40mph, the cop can clock you and it would read 60mph because it would be taking the van's and your's and splitting it....
