What do you mean hardwire. It should cost anything to hardwire. Do you mean the place in NYC that takes apart the V1 and puts it on the rearview mirror?

Stealth is much better than just a hardwire

where is the unit

when you hardwire it?

I have the V1 remote dohicky.
I was planning on putting it to the right of the steering wheel
just below the air vent
and running the wire up behind the A-pillar
and under the headliner...

I wanted it to be up high so it would pick up signals better
from behind in particular
and for laser too
[though if they zap you w/ that yer pretty much screwed]

So what are the "stealth" options?
