just curious... after a hot day in this Texas heat, right when i get into my car afterschool. the shift **** and steering wheel is really greasy and there seems to be some like residue of water on my AC contral buttons. anyone know whats up with my interior? thanks

I think it's the oils from you hands (no offense). I wipe down my steering wheel and shift **** from time to time...I like the feel of clean leather. I think after you touch a surface and you leave the car in the sun, a greenhouse effect occurs (photoelectric effect) meaning the electrons in the closed system (windows rolled up) are excited to the next energy state causing the temperature inside the car to exceed 110 degrees even though the temperature outside could be a mere 65 degrees. The oil prints you left after touching the surface expand and appear to have condensate. That's me take on it...I just made it all up, but some of it might be valid.
