Now that I have your attention... I noticed that stickies automatically gets deleted after a certain number of days (experienced this in the Test Forum), so you might want to unlock them. Maybe Jamie can confirm this.

Well, I go through every so often and delete the Test Forum stuff older than a certain timeframe. I guess the stickies get deleted if they fall in that older date range too. That's probably what happened. Since I don't do pruning of the threads here by date, that shouldn't happen. If we can get some of the sticky stuff into the FAQ or somewhere on the site, that might make it less of a pain for people to read the regular posts in the long run.

Ahhhh... I thought I was going crazy. I go through the Test Forum and delete the old stuff too. Don't worry about cleaning up that forum because I've got that covered.

Get some stuff into the FAQ?

I'm confused.....do they lose their "stickiness" or does the whole post get lost....what effect would locking stick posts have anyway?

I'm just doing this as a temporary measure until you get off your lazy butt and update the FAQs.....

Hey man, I only got the info yesterday!

I don't believe they lose their "stickiness." I saw your locked sticky and remembered that one of mine went away after a certain time period. I have a couple locked threads in the Test Forum, so I'll update you if they get automatically deleted or not. Jamie says they don't automatically get deleted, so
