Don and I went out to the track last night as he mentioned.
I was looking for a 14 second pass, but it just didn't happen. I ran 15.1s all three times! Very consistent! I guess it is going to take some lighter rims to get into the 14s. Now I wish I had installed and tested the underdrive pulley before selling it. Oh well, a supercharger is just around the corner! I will mention that it was 89 degrees out and when corrected to standard conditions it comes to a 14.98!---------MAN, DON'S CAR IS FAST!!!!--------

Good runs!

Don't worry, I'll install the pully and then test it on the track as soon as I get it

Thanks again!

Good job!!!! I was running 15.1s last night too (92-93 traps) with bogging (a first) 2.3 60 foots. It was a tad hot (85-90 degree, 75% humidity, crappy baro pressure). I'm also at over 1000'. Corrected for density altitude (NHRA), it said that I was running at 4000'!!!! It corrected out to be 14.4.

What was the baro pressure and humidity like in Houston?

baro 29.85
humidity 78%
my traps were 90.5mph what does that tell you Dave? also 60' did improve from the usual 2.4 to 2.3.

Sounds like a typical Houston day to me Seriously good runs, though. The only difference between KC and Houston appears to be the slight difference in elevation.

I'd have to say that you might currently have the quickest NA auto on street tires. From my experience, if you can run low 15s in the heat and humidity, then your car is definately a 14.7 second car. My 330' was nearly .3 slower than my best 330' in April. Talk about bogging and not recovering.

Here's my best from April and my best from last night, the only difference is the weather (upper 50s and 40% humidity vs upper 80s and 75% humidity):

60' 2.246 2.326
330' 6.174 6.406
1/8 9.476 9.779
trap 74.98 73.02
1/4 14.731 15.111
trap 93.93 93.09

I received the same results last night! Out of three runs, I could not get back into the 14's.

1)2.35, 60'; 9.80, 1/8; 15.11 @92.59
2)2.28, 60'; 9.75, 1/8; 15.05 @92.59
3)2.30, 60'; 9.72, 1/8; 15.05 @91.32 (shifted to 4th on this run only)

The track is in Bradenton, Fl. which should be right at sea level, temperature around 85, humidity around 60%, barometer 29.9

Previous best times:
2.2, 60'; 9.53, 1/8; 14.73 @ 94.1
This run was done in January and the temperature was in the 60's with low humidity.
I've added the UDP since then and gone back to the stock muffler.

Lot's of gutted Civics out there running very well. One sticks to my mind was running low 12's. GSR's were running 15.4 - 15.6, and one Type R ran one 15.6 and then 15.4. That's pretty sad for a Type R! There was also a new Lexus GS430 and he ran two 15.1's!

15.1 is the best time I've seen for a N/A Max. Good job!
