Picked up my 2000 trans:

Picked up my 2000 trans:

from MaximaTodd (thanks again). It did not come with the shift rods, will the 4th gens work fine?

Yes, the 4th gen ones are to be used. The position of your shifter may move slightly with the new trans.

Cool, I will just leave it bolted to the shifter then, makes it easier to swap.

when the shifter moves, is it back or forward, i hear somepeople say forward and some say backwards, what is it damnit?

It moves backward. If you have a STS then it will not be in too bad but if not then it is almost pointing toward the rear of the car in 2, 4, and R.
