Painting front grill plastic? How?
I want to paint the grill on the front of my car. I tried to wax it and bring out some what of a shine, but its too late for that.
I want to paint it black or body color but i dont know how i should prep plastic. My last attempt painting plast was a disaster.

Krylon Fusion. I used it and it worked great, HOWEVER I didn't spray any clearcoat on it after it dried and my grille got chewed up by highway debris from road paving as a result.

i used krylon fusion on a chrome grill. wanted to get rid of the chrome and golden burger at the same time. u can see in the sig. Just make sure you put on a LOT of coats of black and clear. I have a decent amount of paint chips from all the roads. o yea as for prep, all i did was wash, sand with 800 and then wiped it with alcohol. good luck.
