Sorry, the company is called USAA (United Services Automobile Association) Superb company, only down side for most of you is their eligibility...

Who's Eligible?
Active duty officers and enlisted personnel
National Guard, Reserve officers and enlisted personnel
Officer candidates in commissioning programs(Academy, ROTC, OCS & OTS)
Former spouses and adult children of USAA members

they do have great rates and service, for the most part, but after shopping around i'm sure that you can find much lower prices. obviously that's not everything when it comes to insurance thouhg.

I'm paying 172 a month right now for my insurance, average coverage no collision with several tickets in MA. IF i put my Z back on the road it would be almost $450 a month just for the Z(hence why i'm selling it) I haven't had any tickets in two years though(since my driver retraining class) and i should be dropping substantially July, 2006, prolly half what i'm paying now WOO HOO

I'm paying about $2200/year for full coverage. I'm 20 with everything in my own name and a clean record. Not too bad considering it was $2800 before my renewal last month. That was a pleasant suprise!

trick is to get a beater and claim it as your daily driver, in my case i got a 91 Ranger under my name that my dad drives, and claim my Max as a "recreational" vehicle.. i pay 250 on the Max full coverage and 200 on the Ranger liability only every six months with Geico..

Is it that cheap in Texas?! Are the insurance companies private or does the state control insurance? That would be great cause I might come down there for school, then maybe I can actually afford to insure my 99.

Found a site which can offer help to reduce insurance price.

Found a Good Site
That offers advice on how to lower your insurance rates. And I don't know if anyone said this about Geico, but i'm pretty sure all they do is cut out the Agent's commission which I believe is about 10-15% or whatever they advertise ("Geico on avg saves you this much"), My teacher told me this at a insurance course.
I'm paying about $140/month in Chicago because i'm 21, and the car is black - I don't have a record, and I think i'm going to try to lower it by using this website I posted here.
