Which Optima Yellow-Top fits our cars?

I am looking to buy an Optima Yeller this weekend, but I am not sure which size fits our cars? I need to get one with dual posts...so I have two questions:

(1) Which Optima Yeller fits?

(2) How do I rig the side posts so that I may attach the OEM (+) & (-) terminals?

I will be getting my battery from HERE, since the shipping is free.

Thanks in advance, guys...

Dan,

If I recall (95% sure I do), you need 75/35 for our cars. (I've got a red top) To use the side posts, You need GM style screw in terminal posts. Theyre about 3.99 or so from any auto parts store. They should screw right into the side posts.
IM or PM me if theres confusion, I'll double check in the morn. Good luck!

It is a little off topic but i did read somewhere that the same company that makes Optima batteries also makes DieHard, Kirkland (Costco) and some other "no-name" batteries. You may want to look into that and see if a nice DieHard Gold will do the job. Its much cheaper.

There's a reason that a Red/"Yeller" top is so much more expensive. It's not the same as a Die Hard, its a deep cycle battery that has MANY more Cold Cranking Amps.

No, it will NOT do the same job. Like Nilesh said, there are that many more cold cranking amps in an OPTIMA. OPTIMAs are one of (if not the) best batteries you can get for your car. Pay $160 to upgrade something that my entire car will benefit from? Gladly.

as you can see, the GM type terminal screws in, then there is another bolt that screws into that to hold the ring terminal in.

Actual proof that the D75/25 will fit our cars.

Batteries.com......promotion code "GEICO" should still work for a discount.
