Anyone seen these new tires without Air from Michelin?

Looks like a prototype to me at the current stage, id hope the do add a sidewall on those things so it dont look so ugly. I could just imagine all the junk and crap that would get in there if it sat for a week or driving through mud. Thats a cool innovation though. I have never had a Blowout or flat tire yet, which is unbeleivable when i had an old ford with a horrible toe alignment problem and a new set of tires would be showing steel belting on the outsides after only 1500 miles.

I also agree...cool idea, but they definitely need a sidewall. Maybe they just left it out for the time being to market the whole concept...its just more obvious there is no air inside if you can see how they're made.

Yea i'm sure that there would be a sidewall, they're obviously just showcasing the technology. It would be foolish not to, a rock would get stuck in there or something and destroy it.

I see this as a better off road application then on personally, you could go rock crawling in a 4x4 without ever having to worry about a puncture.
