For that price it better be FI and have every mod known to man.

You see this sort of BS, Barbara Streisand, on autotrader all the time.

Even though it has only 50k miles on it, 7-8k is the most I would give for it.

For $14,000, you could easily get a 5.5gen with similiar or lower miles.

Some dealers are just crazy. I've seen a 91 Accord listed at $8000 Canadian...its been for sale for well over a year at the same price!

There's Classic Nissan (NJ) on cars.com that wants 19,899 for a 1999 Maxima with 20k miles and ANOTHER one by the same dealer for 18,999 for a 1999 with 25k miles.

Major world has 12 maximas at outrageous prices on cars.com. The cheapest being a 1999 w/51k miles for $13,100.

Cherry Hill Nissan of NJ takes the cake for a 2000 Max for $21,600 w/46,000 miles on it. That's what the car would have been worth brand new 5 years ago.

Wow, that place(Major World) should just burn to the ground....If it does I didn't do it! They want $30400 for a 00 Jeep G Cherokee. That is insane! They can't possibly get very many customers. Oh, the trick is that to get that 'discounted' price, you have to finance 80% through them. Fine print-

$6-$7K is more reasonable for that max.

So, $14,000 is the advertised price. If you don't finance 80% through them, they'll have a higher asking price!!!

There's a sucker born every minute, but it would take a rare sucker to pay their asking prices. I think the only way these bozos could sell a car is to hold a gun to someone's head forcing them to sign on the bottom line.

Yeah man that's just nuts. I bought my 2003 5.5th gen se/auto/cloth/no sunroof for 16995 with 35000 miles in April 05. I wonder how some companies stay in business with such rediculously high prices.

I doubt they will for long. I'm taking automotive marketing in school and I'm sure most consumers won't fall for prices that high. Their "sale" prices and fine print are kind of sketchy and probably seem too risky for most people to trust. A great example of what a dealership should NOT do!

Omg, maybe they DO hold a gun to your head! That's the only way they could sell these cars.

I live about 10 minutes from Cherry Hill Nissan and 30 minutes from Classic. They are both the worst dealerships to deal with. Not surprised to hear they are trying to pull this kind of crap.
