Very Important "Discovery" re Strut Bars
i showed pix of 240sx fender bars and 240sx subframe spacers/collars.

the spacers are metal and eliminate flex. we could use these up front, at least i think so. fender bars stiffen up the weakest part of the chassis, where the fire wall is.

Does anyone know if the Cattman FSTB (or any other FSTB) is solid, one-piece construction? I am interested in getting a non-hinged FSTB, preferably made out of steel. I'm convinced that the two hinge points in cheap FSTB's allow a lot more flex than most people think. There's no way that two small bolts are going to prevent flex in the FSTB (or movement about the hinges) given the continual forces in all directions from the entire weight of the front end going around corners.
I'm also bumping this thread in case any other people want to go against the Org orthodoxy and try this, and post their impressions here. Please no

BTW: why not just weld the regular bar to its brackets?
