my fans are going when i barely turned on my car

i'll start up my car..and maybe give it 3-7 minutes to idle...after that my fans will just go on. earlier today same thing happen. i was @ a light(just started my car 8 minutes ago), and my car just shut off. i started it right back up without any problems. what the hell is going on?
also my belts are squeaking after started it up. could this be a factor?

Sounds like you have a bunch of problems. The fan turning on is normal. There is a switch that turns on the fan when the engine temp reaches 220 or something like that. 4th gens have two fans. The fan on the passenger side is the engine cooling fan, which turns on intermittently. The fan on the drivers side is the AC fan, which turns on whenever the AC is switched on. However, the engine fan should not turn on until you have been at operating temp (needle approx half way between C and H) and idling for a little while (maybe 5 minutes).
Squealing belts during startup should not cause your car to stall. Usually when an engine stalls, it is a fuel or spark problem. While it is possible that a slipping belt may prevent the alternator from cranking out the juice to keep the sparkplugs going, I think is it highly unlikely. If that were the case, the charge light would turn on.
