Cost of a respray

I have a 96SE with the pearl finish. The interior is great, the leather is perfect, but the body has got too many minor dings for my liking, so I'd like to get a complete fix and spray job. Just got a quote yesterday for $750. Now, this is in Mexico, but I wonder what it has cost other owners for a complete body fix-up?

It runs any where from $3500 to $5000 for a decent paint job here in the United States. Cst of materials have really gone up alot.

I am assuming that you live in Mexico...if that is wrong I appoligize.

- You're correct, I live in Monterrey, a big city a couple of hours drive from Laredo, TX.
Wow. The $750 seems like a bargain! $3500 for a paint job? That's more than half what I paid for the car . . .

$3500 - $5000 is for a complete paint job including door jams, engine.... If u just want the car the same color and dont care about door jams, engine compartment etc... (which i will assume due to the age of the car) most places i know do it anywhere from $1200-1500. This is just for painting, body work will be additional.

Not for three stage paint, remeber he wants a pearl finish. it will be around 2200-2700 depending on where you go.

That is exactly what I was talking about. Cheaper materials will only last a couple years before it fades
