u shouldn't dog on everyone that actually wants one...even though i don't want one...why would they have made altezzas for the maxima if there wasn't some sort of demand for them? oh well...people just like different things..."i think they don't look right on a max but who knows"...

Although I would be interested to see what the smoked out ones would look on a dark car....but then again I prefer having a sleeper car and not an 80's glam car either.

Ok. there is a difference between a sports sedan DESIGNED to have those lites and a sedan being slapped with a pair of lights out of the blue.
i mean. come on. you tell me. when u look at the rest of the altezza, the tails goes with the chromey headlites and the sleek lines of the car.
now look at the max.

The Lexus IS300 is a nice Sport Sedan and Maxima's are also so why can't the Maxima have a nice set of lights like another sport sedan it is not like we are trying to put lights on our car off of a Ford Escort or Kia or Something........this is as simple as it gets we have our own cars,money,time and choices to do whatever we want to our cars...simple if you like it for you ride you buy it if you don't then don't buy it!

Anyways...I see them so often that I think that if I had an IS300 I would get the rear light covers to cover up the stock lights so no one would be calling my Lexus a Honda...
I don't see the next IS having these type of lenses again...but I could be wrong

Actually I think the.....
the IS300 has them stock because its Japanese counterpart the Toyota Altezza(notice the name of the car) started the whole thing in Japan. As long as they stay on the Toyota Altezza and the Lexus IS300 it's all good!

Sorry, never liked Alt's. Nor do I like clears or fogged ones. Keep it simple, keep it real.
Last weekend I saw a newer Dodge Caravan w/Alt's...not very good looking. It's gotta be one of the most played out mods of current times. I'm not biting...no Alt's for my 85 volvo, my roommate's 93 Altima, or my future Maxima.

IMO (just mine) I think Touring wings are just as bad as Altezzas. They serve absolutely no purpose.
Don't forget, I test my stuff out too. Everything I do is track tested and dynoed and I'm currently working with a performance shop to get some new Maxima parts made.
I still would be interested in the ECU if someone could show me timeslips of improved ets or even just a NA Max 5 speed hitting mid 14s with the ECU and a Y-pipe and exhaust. So far, all I've seen is a .1 and .5mph improvement for the ECU.
BTW, don't get your panties in a bunch so quickly. I was just playing with you.

This is GREAT. I love it. I can't believe what this has become. People who are considered the Maxima elite are arguing all the way down to newbies. We have photoshopped pics and Anti-pics. One side says, "there played out, ricey, ugly, cheap looking", and the other side says "why should hondas get the good looking stuff, they look awsome, there better then the clear/red". y r u guys so p.o. bout these altezza becoming available for the max...the way i see it is it's just another option for us max owner in the aftermarket world...attitude like this will only prevent any aftermarket company from even creating anything for us, for fear of it not selling...for those that's saying it's so played out and ricey...***** pleaze (no offense to anyone)...clear bumper r just as played out and ricey as anything else...the only difference is that clear bumpers r more accepted then the altezza...now u see y honda/acura boys get so much more shiet in the aftermarket world?? 1. there are alot of honda/acura 2. honda/acura owner r more willing to try aftermarket stuff...

Altezza looks good on the Original Altezza, otherwise, they are just low quality lights found on Honda and Integras.
Whoa wait, how about the S2000? They have similar lights to Altezzas....
I am not sure if I want to boycott Altezza lights, but I will boycott Altezza lights for Hondas, but not the ones on Original equipment.

there was a great quote by the woman who worked in 40's and 9's in dont be a menace to south central while drinking your juice in the hood.. "you dont like, you dont buy" everyone has their preference and if noone gets the altezzas, then mine wont look the same as all the other maximas out there, no big deal
