vsamoylov has 2k2 gauge cluster in 96

Thought of something else I was the first to do. Millenia wheels on the max for lightweight drag racing wheels.

Should've gone with the 4.425 from the 05 L31.

The A33 3.7899 vs the stock A32 3.619 show very minimal difference, less than 100 rpm even with the stock tire size of the A32.

Do you have an A33 tranny or just the F/D?

How do you recalibrate the speedo to read correctly again?

you don't. checked against a radar. reads exactly as it should. besides, didn't nissan go with 3.78 because of 225/50 tires?

That's my guess. It's a ~65 rpm difference with 225/50-17's vs the 215/60-15's.

But with 215/60-15's & 3.789 you get ~ 95 rpm difference VS the stock 3.619.

Negligible in both cases....

But the 4.425 from the 05 QR powered Altima would gain some benefits for acceleration, but obviously not for highway driving.

Do you have the F/D or the entire tranny?

Wouldn't need to. Speed is measured off the shaft, not the gears.

I'm pretty sure I've never had an original thought with regard to the maxima.

I seem to be second at everything:
2nd with the G35 18's on a 5th gen (I think)
2nd with the yellow fog capsules (I think)
2nd to use the 6th gen calipers/rotors on a 5th gen (I think)
2nd to change all the interior lighting to LEDs (I think)
2nd to smoke the side markers (Bluesbrekr was first)
2nd to change the washer sprayers to the Murano fan-type spray (or was I first?)

ah...I was the first person to buy a stage2 lower tie bar, and then cut it in half 6 months later to make it into a stage 1 LTB, for autocross classing reasons. Don't know if that's a good thing though...

Maybe I was the first to drive the 5th gen maxima through over a foot and half of snow ON THE ROAD, UNPLOWED for over 200 miles!

also first person with the leather ebrake/shift boots from redlinegoods, I think.

Nope. He'll be second. The first will be that guy from PA (i believe) that was three-wheeling his max at an autocross event with Irish.

I just noticed one other thing I did before you! I did the color pillar mod! Woot! Finally, I beat you to something! I feel MUCH better now.

Pre-drop pics:

That, and I have red cuplers on my intake (you can kinda see it here, but the bay looks better now):

Oh, and I think I may have been the first to use aftermarket fog light housings, but I'm really not sure as a ton of people have them now.

I don't hit curbs, and that's about the only way I could flip the max in an autocross....it'll spin before it flips, no doubt.

It doesn't count when you do a mod nobody else wants to do.

Even though this is non engine/suspension related, I believe (please correct me if I'm wrong) that I'm the first to put some flushmount RCA inputs in the spot that I've got em....

I did a few electrical things..

windows on 5.5gens with aftermarket alarm and no extra modules?
9" mids in doors?
steering controls with certain radios and not that damn PAC unit?
Bypassing Bose with an aftermarket HU and no additional modules?
Adding amp(S) to Bose without silly modules?
Im sure a few others, do these count?

Yes but not all functions. Ive done sevral, but with limited functions. I believe just volume up, track up&down?

Best bet is the PAC SWI-ECL. I personally HATE the swix and would Never use it. Although the ECL works flawlessly with the AVNs and its hardwired, so of course no learning remotes or mounted emitters.
