Someone in Dallas
I believe I'm the first with cleared and tinited I30 taillights.
Also I think I'm the only person with the Cefiro Sport/mesh grille, and it's painted black now.
I think I was the first to order a gunmetal dash kit from Shadow. I don't know if anybody bought it after me.
I was one of the first to get a full DE-K running in my car, although all credit goes to Tilley for that. Just my "idea".
I believe my I30 is one of the few with OEM gray leather.
And hopefully soon I'll be the first Maxima/I30 with stage 2 SFCs, stage 2 LTB and JClaw's traction bars....

** I was the first to rewire corner lights, and fog lights. I was the second Orger to have a fully built bulletproof auto transmission. JimW was the first.
** Papasmurf was the first Orger to make a hybrid intake.
**Mehran was the first to perform a 5-speed swap. And was also the first Supercharged Max. He did this when he was 18.
** David L was the first to do 95-96 red clears. That man was full of money.
**Cheston was the first to do a carbon fiber hood.
** Cattman invented the y-pipe, Stillen stole it.

I'll be the first to break 10 seconds in the quarter. It'll happen within the next year. Yep, I just put it out there! Just two more checks to write on this car, then I can buy a Civic and start really modding my max. It's not done yet, but it'll happen. I'm also buying a spare motor so I don't have to worry about blowing mine up completely.

Didn't SY actually have the first Y-Pipe? This was in like '97/98. Granted, it was pretty much a muffler shop custom job, but it was a Y-Pipe. Cattman was just the first to actually manufacture one and sell it.

Tilley might be close if he can keep his car running. They both have simular set-ups.
BTW: Mardigras may not beat me to the 10 second mark. He's pretty conservative. I don't have a problem blowing a motor and getting a new one. It's always good to have extra paper weights around anyway...
I know my car's slow now, but it won't be for very long. The biggest two problems I'll have is finding a way to put the power to the pavement and learning to drive it right in the quarter mile. It'll be an auto (no aftermarket clutch for the 6 speed, so no way to take a lot of power), so most of the driving part should be pretty easy once I hit the launch right.

Anyway, back on topic: Who the hell decided wheel spacers was a good idea on the back of the 5th gens?
Who came up with using O2 sims?

You don't need to top 160 to run 10's. 130mph or so would do it, and lower if you had an amazing 60'. The Maxima auto is geared so tall that you're going to need a ton of power to make it work.

Haven't checked this thread in a while, too lazy to read the rest.
So not sure if he's been mentioned. Maxgtr2000, Andrew. I don't believe he was the first, possibly 2nd, to do dual projectors, but certainly caught everybody's attention with it. I also think if it wasn't for him not as many people on here would be driving with some retrofits!
