Best way to dry out a fog light assembly?

As I took out my foglight yesterday and saw condensation on the lens, I turned it over and a puddle of water came out. So I shook it back and forth and more drops came out. But still inside remains more water droplets, how can I dry it out completely? Should I just let it hang upside down for a day? Thanks

Bake it in the oven at 175 degrees for 10 minutes intervals until it's gone.

Wet towel on cookie sheet. Fog on wet towel.

See any cracks anywhere? If no, throw some silicone around where the lens meets the housing and you'll be good to go.

Oh yeah, don't let it hang to dry. You'll get watermarks and than you'll have to take the fog apart to get them out.

I was thinking that silicone would eventually harden and peel off. Perhaps something that penetrates the crack would be better? Thoughts?

Cover the outside of the lamp housing in soapy water. Blow into the hole and if there is any bubbling you know where your leak came from. Seal it up with silicone. Its designed not to harden over time. Works like a charm. Also replace your bulb as it could be the o-ring the base of the bulb that is leaking.

I had water in mine because the H3 bulb cap was lose and therefore water got in. I baked it at 175 for 20min and it dried out nicely.

Just another suggestion...instead of baking it, you could wipe the inside down with rubbing alc. It will displace the water and leave the inside bone dry.

I30/I35 fog lights have a tiny opening, will be difficult to wipe inside, but good suggestion.

NP, man. In all honesty, you could put a little in the hole, plug the hole with your finger, shake it around, unplug the hole and let it evaporate. Just a possible alternative, I hate putting car parts in the oven.
