Need help with crank pulley removal..
I read the stickies on both the 5/6 generation sites and need help removing the stock crank pulley bolt. The car is an auto, has 3k miles on it so the parts are not rusted together, I tried 2 different air guns, a breaker bar and all I did was break 2 19mm sockets and 1 3/4 socket. I am 235 lbs and my friend helping me is 270 lbs and the 2 of us could not get that bolt off with the breaker bar and we bent a crow bar that was holding the crank in place.
I read that the 6th gen are left hand threads so we had the tools set to tighten and no luck. Any help/advice greatly appreciated!

Had 2 impact guns, one was 640 lb tq and the other was a MAC and neither one would budge it. I have read that they are left hand thread and need to be in the tighten position to loosesn. Is this true?

Did you even try to go the other way?
Where did you read it was left hand thread?
That bolt is NOT left handed. Why would Nissan suddenly decide to change something like that in the middle of their production?
Every VQ made- as well as KA, VG, VG, SR, QG, GA, etc all use right-hand thread bolts on the crank pulley. only one I've seen use otherwise is Honda, and that's because their engines spin backwards in relation to Nissan.

I read in a thread I posted in the 6th Gen section that someone that had done this said their bolt was left hand thread. I tried going both ways to"rock" the bolt loose and nothing worked. I asked and am asking so someone with more knowledge than me can answer the question for sure, 100% certainty.
