Stealth Liquid Wax!

I had no idea that a product like this actually existed. You have to be careful applying this and not get it on your paint though you can wipe it off if it leaks. It is applied directly on the lights. And the stuff really does work. It basically makes your car laser stealth against LIDAR, Laser radar. And apparently the new Beltronics laser detector really kicks too!

Check out this site for the stealth wax: http://www.laserveil.com/

Once applied it gives a blueish appearance similar to Zenon lights though it's not supposed to affect the performance or strenght of the beams.

I'm going to get a bottle and try it out. Of course I'm not condoning speeding or racing. It's just in case I need to go out of town on the highway and wish to avoid speed traps.

Here is a good write up on the product. I will go with the Bel Laser Jammer one of these days. http://www.radartest.com/article.asp?articleID=10056

I don't think I would by the laserveil though.

O rly? I'm highly skeptical of this... even if it was a "stealth" paint, how would covering only the lights make your entire car more stealthy?

I think it is because when cops aim with LIDAR they aim at headlights and licence plate.

My understanding is the headlights and front plate (where you have them) are the best targets for laser. There is too much vertical scatter off the hoods and the headlight makes a great reflector. Works just as good going in as out I guess. Anyway the idea is to scatter the laser before it hits the headlight reflector. Personally I doubt it does much good. If the gun doesn't lock on the headlight they just aim at something or someone else. Just my $.02 worth.

Plenty of tests from that Radar Roy dude show that this works...

I'd still like a laser difuser instead though...
