Dustboots

Dustboots

I am getting a suspension put on and was wondering if dustboots are something i really should have on there. any with experience let me know

yes. they will protect your investment of new struts. a cheap thing for the protection it provides. get KYB.

he's absolutely right. the boots prevent dirt, dust, sand and other stuff that will ruin the struts.

are they generic or do i need to get ones specific for my struts i have Tokico Illuminas

read the how-to / sticky. there are part numbers for the KYB ones that you should get.

are dust boots the same thing as bellow boots? I was told I needed to get bellow boots to protect the dust and dirt from getting on the bushings on my lower control arm. Speaking of which, I have a major question about the lower control arm of my car and I really need help. I wanted to post a new thread but I am not allowed here. I'm new and I just need some help

I also have Tokico Illuminas/Progress that I'm going to installw/KYB dustboots. (not generic)
I got them from Cattman Performance.

Boots to cover LCA bushings? That's a new one.
