a replacement for 5 gen max
i'm kinda thinking of getting rid of my 2k maxima. so i guess i just want to hear some opinions on this: should i consider 6 gen maxima as a replacement for what i have now, or should i really move on? i still wish to have a maxima, but there is a bunch of interesting cars out there... like g35/m35/q45, e46/e39, s60r volvos, latest tl just to name a few.

He listed an M35 as one choice, that's the only reason i even mentioned it. I'd take a BMW over any car any day.
The G35 is going to look like a skyline that's out in Japan ATM, and the new US model skyline is going to look like the curent G35 on crack!

well, my original thought was if a 6th gen max worth it, but it looks like it's not. i'm not looking into c5 and like because for that kind of performance i've got some different ideas, besides, it's my wf (with kids in the back seat) who drives the maxima most of the time, so it's "like" a family car.
6th gens are great cars. Maybe there aren't as many mods and performance upgrades as the older ones but they are still great cars. I prefer my 6th gen over the 5.5 gens. Lots of luxury and one of the fastest family sedans around. You also don't pay the premium for the name.

6th gen max would be near the bottom of my list, personally...but that's just my opinion.

E39/E60... M45 is no replacement for a BMW with a standard shift. That said, it is still a very badass/amazing car and one of the very few automatics I'd ever actually consider.
The TL is also a great car, but IMO also soulless.
I've heard many mixed things about S60Rs, I think they look great but about half of the people I've heard comment on them complain about incessant understeer. Those gauge clusters are freakin' sweet though.

Depends what you're looking for. I'd take the 545i/6 without thinking twice.
