Hey,

How much do you think it would cost to make a 1991 R32 Streetlegal by DOT standards. And what do you think I would have to do?

Thanks, J

I don't think you would want to have a street-legal Skyline in the U.S.

for $90k you can get a brand new R34, $40k can get you a used R32 street legal, from motorex in CA. but it's still RHD which sux.
with $90k i might just get a used 911TT and blow the doors off the skyline.

since its a r32 it won't be needing a airbag or OBD-II(which is a pretty big chunk of the cost).
also you might have to take it to Motorex to get it streetlegal if they accept cars not brought in by them. the reason for that is they have a skyline petition with DOT, if you take it somewhere else like Wallace Labs in texas. They're going to have to get their own petition if Motorex doesn't let them use theirs. So they might charge alot, call yourself and see. one last thing shipping? not sure how much, i know for distributer its $700-1000 per container from japan.

its just a little blue light shining on the white dash, look on the bottom right corner of the dash you'll see the light.

hey, i just found out that motorex charges $17,000 for the US DOT/EPA modification. also shipping is around 3k unless you know someone then it'll be under 1k.
