advice on purchasing car on ebay - shipping coast-coast ??

advice on purchasing car on ebay - shipping coast-coast ??
hi

there's a G all the way on the other side of the country (NJ) that looks good on ebay.

Just wondering if anyone has had experience buying from over seas. I know my neighbor bought his lexus from TX , shipped to CA for a good deal, but that was from a dealer that was selling online.

Any tips / feedback?

Intercitylines is different from innercitylines. Innercity uses open carriers, making the transported car subject to weather elements (hail) and things like trees or power lines.

Intercity only uses enclosed carriers. Just wanted to make the difference known. Hate to see a fellow max-orger have his car potentially damaged.
