Seemed like a bargain since I've heard that these things last forever...
So far, other than regular maintenance (oil, filters, brake pads & tires)
I have only had to replace the 'speed sensor' which was $80 and a simple DIY project.
The car started shaking last night on the road and I found this site tonight while doing the research on possible causes and solutions. I find out tommorrow whether the wheel bearings and/or ball joints need to be replaced. Wish me luck... Oh, and 'Hi everyone!'
lucky you dude. i have spent nearly 1700$ on my 2k1. i recently replaced maf.

Then there's the mods.
what made you replace the throttle position sensor. were there any symptoms? i replaced maf, coils, plugs, cleaned TB got fuel injection servc. but i still feel some stalling once in a while so can this be related to bad TPS if yes then shouldnt the SES light turn on if a sensor goes bad? and does air temp sensor stands for mass air flow sensor?
