HEllo. I'm interested in going this route too. What years were the lightest for those rims. 93-95? What is the offset on them and what modifications are required to fit them on my car. I have stock 97 gxe its not lowered or anything. I will be using 225/60/16 tires.
Thanks a lot in advance.

i'm not sure what the offset for the 93-95 rx7 wheels are, but you'll need a spacer for the rear wheel because the ring on our hub is a little bigger than the hole on the rx7 wheel. just a thin spacer will do. i got 1/4" spacers.

Is it possible to bore out the center of the rim a few millimeters so it will fit without spacers. How much were the spacers and what parts were required to go with them. Thanks

it's possible to bore out the center of the rim, but i didn't want to go through the trouble. it was easier to buy the $15 spacers from Mr Gasket. no other parts needed, it's just a thin plate that goes between the wheel and the hub.
