I used a bursh on kit. I think the product was called G2 Caliper Paint Kit. I am pretty sure it comes in black. I ordered it from the internet somewhere.

Here is a link to the product:
http://g2usa.com/brake_caliper_paint.shtml
On there you will be able to find places to purchase it. Shop around for a good price. If I recall correctly, I found it for $30 somewhere, don't remember where though.
Hope that helps. This product seems to be holding real well.

Dupli-color and Plasti-kote each make "caliper paint". Any parts store sells one, even walmart. You could even buy it off ebay.

My friend just painted his on a Solara, using Dupont Caliper Paint from Autozone. It was like $20 and had brake cleaner, and the paint already mixed for you. There was enough in there to do at least 6 coats per caliper.

take your time with it and depending how bad the caliper is or the paint sticks you will see 1 coat should be fine no more than 2

coats depend on your preference and how bright you want your calipers to be...the more coats the brighter they will be...that being said, don't put on 10 coats to make it look like neons at night!

I would say 2-3 heavy coats.

clear coat would be a waste of money. The caliper paint already has a pretty good shine to it and clear coat would not be able to handle the heat or chemicals.

when i had my 5th gen, my boy had a 05 gti..we both used foliatec caliper paint(red). and after doing about 2-3 coats on each caliper we used a high temp clear coat(about 2 coats). he bought the clear so i dont remember who made it. BUT..we both saw a long term difference in brake dust repelling, shine, ability to keep clean, and a lot less fade in color over extended periods of time including over the winters in chicago. we could tell a difference because we did our previous cars with same paint but no high temp clear. good choice to use the clear in my opinion.

Well, I guess I stand corrected.

I painted the calipers on my truck yesterday with G2 silver paint. I put on 2-3 coats and they look great. I'm thinking about painting the calipers on the max now. Probably the same silver color. I only used maybe 1/3 of the paint to do the 4 calipers. I would have had enough to do both at the same time but I did not know that in advance.

I would like to paint mine black or silver. I am definitely interested in seeing how others have turned out.

Is there anyone out here whos had it for over say 6 months or a year and the calipers still look good. Come on guys, if you painted your long time ago, chime in. I am sure they look "briliant" when painted but they retain that look over long periods of time???

You can find caliper paint at any auto parts store. You may want to wait until warmer weather to paint. You'll get more and better drying time in before the day ends.

I would suggest G2 or Foliatec paint kits. They make the best caliper paint for the long term.

Just did this to my friends 240sx with high temp engine paint and clear.

My only gripe is that I wish these were sand blasted so I could have had a smoother finish with the fronts.

G2 sounds like good stuff, but I haven't been able to find it for less than $38. Don't really want to spend that much...

Are you saying that your car isn't worth that much? G2 is high quality paint and I highly recommend it.

Nope, not saying that at all. Just don't feel like paying $38 bucks on something like that.
