Well, I brought my car back from the dealer after dropping it on this morning. The recall was the P8152 recall. Anyway, the dealer replaced the front and rear O2 sensors, inspect/replaced vent control valve, and installed water separator. I'm not very familiar with these stuff, so can anyone clear this up for me as what exactly do they do, and how does fixing these things help me; especially the 02 sensors. Thanks!
The O2 sensors were recalled because there was a problem with some of them going bad and causing the check engine light to go on. I had all the same stuff changed too. All the other stufff is for emissions. Dont even give it a thought, the valve and the separator wont affect performance in any way.
