Thanks to Cheston and his How2 section.
Because of his instructions on installing the AutoMeter Shift light, I had my new light installed in less than 30 min. Very simple step by step instructions were very easy to follow. Mounted it on the steering colum behind the steering wheel between the gauges. Stares right at me. PLus, it's not as easy to see from outside the car which I like as well. Less attention.
BTW, I got the Shiftlight with a 6k RPM pill for $69. Is that a good price?
While at Automotive Engineering in Tampa, an older guy with a hotrod Ford Pickup truck had his laptop with him. He's having a bad time with cylinder misfires( on the trip to the store there were 140), and he has a software that runs and records all kinds of realtime data while he drives. Lets him know what cylinders were misfiring, A|F rates, and a bunch other stuff. Has anyone heard of a software like this before?
