ever try to take out a WRX?

I test drove one. Unfortunately, it was and automatic. It was a dog below 3000rpm. The boost comes on hard and fast after that. I definitely think it would be a worthy challenge of any maxima. The handling was nice too, smooth and lots of wheel travel but with no body roll.

Well 227hp, awd and stick make for a tough competitor. If the guy knows how to launch their awd system, then it's lights out for the maxima.

Test drove one and I was very impressed with it's
performance and ability to handle the corners (going at
55 on a 35mph corner).
I did play follow the leader against an amatuer, he got
me on a straight away but once we hit the curves, he
couldn't handle it and almost crashed. I beat him
no problem. Anybody else that drives half away decent
could of dusted me.
It all comes down to who's the better driver not the
performance of the car.

1st of all i agree with the p***ed off kia look... the old one looked so much better... and those damn headlights... what were they thinking? they were following Fords Rally design...
well if the person doesnt know how to launch the car... a 5spd could smoke it... the boost comes in hard 3000+ and well the best times are when you drop it from about 5000 and hold on
yea the engine does bog down pretty badly because of the turbo boost as well as the gearing... with a sweet 6spd it'd be a great car... and if it got rid of the headlights... they should offer a kit to make it look more like the old one

My friend has a new WRX, 5-spd. Our track in OKC is slow, but his best time was a 15.1. Its bone-stock, and after looking at his 60-ft times, they were mostly 2.2 - 2.3's. Shouldn't they be more around 2.0 flat?

I test drove one and I think it felt a lot stronger on the top and like a civic down low. The suspension is excelent and i had a lot of fun but came to the conclusion that I like my maxima better beacuse of the low end power. I know that with a good driver it win win against most maximas, but if you put some 16-20 punk behind the wheel then I'll kill em 'cause this is a hard car to drive well.

i raced one but the owner didn't launch the car like he was supposed to,by 2nd gear i had him about a car and 1/2 by 60mph{shut down for traffic},i believe a max will win a top end race being that both cars 0-100mph time are almost identicle.the wrx tops out at 135mph or so.
