That is one hell of a car if anyone could walk away from something like that... I guess size isn't always important in safety.

have you guys seen the 540i that's always advertised with in BMW's brochures and stuff? It was some car a family had just recently bought, and just a while after they bought it there was a horrible collision. Well, the car was more than destroyed (not much worse than the IS300) but the woman driving was fine, and their baby SLEPT THROUGH IT. Now that's luxury... when the car holds up to the point where your nap is not disturbed just because of road annoyances like a car totalling (your own). In any case, accidents are something that happen, but it is stories like these that provide us some hope through it all!

The fact that the car looks like that actually saved his life. The car distorting took all of the brunt of the collision, leaving the occupants to live another day. I love when people complain how much damage there is to a car after a 'minor' accident, that damage is keeping them from injury. I'm still impressed though.

Operation Desert Skid

Upon further review, I now believe the vehicle was hit by a Patriot Missile.

Re: Re: luck

Yeah, they are CA plates....

>>>>In hindsight, I should have opted for the "cover your ***" insurance part of the lease that I didn't think I'd need. I forgot what it's called, but it makes up the difference for anything your insurance company doesn't cover, in my case, california sales tax.
