went to autozone today picked up fuel filter by a no namer cost about $9.50 bucks.
went to wally world and checked out the FRAM fuel filter, cost about $9.50 bucks.
looked at the no namer and the FRAM.
they both looked exactly alike except no FRAM logo on the one i bought.
both had "made in israel" on it.
wussup with that???!?!??!

I have gone thru 2 / 3 fram oil filters already. The dealer unfortunately told me that Fram oil filters do not have a back flow oil valve diaphram or something...so basically, whenever you turn on the car / crank the car...there is no oil somewhere in the engine and it'd hurt it in the long run.

think nissan OEM oil filters cost lot less, have reverted back to nissan OEM...eventhough there might be some out there that might perform better,...just piece of mind!

my $0.02

Re: my post wasnt about oil filters but.........

[fram's regular filters are crap, but they do have a backflow valve, there are almost no filters that don't have one. My nissan dealer tried to tell me that also, bull****. Also, the nissan filter is more expensive, but it is good Check out http://www.members.nbci.com/minimopa...lterstudy.html for more than you need to know about filters. If you don't like standing in line for a 5 dollar filter at your nissan dealer, try the purolator pure one, the mobil 1, or the fram tough guard. these all work well. Really, anything but fram regular. K&N makes a cool fuel filter that is cleanable and billet aluminum for about 15, no idea if it is good, but their stuff usu is
